Doug Dunker is the founder and principal at Prescott Hearing Center. In 1999, he received a diploma in Hearing Instrument Sciences from Bates College in Tacoma, Washington. In 2004, he became board-certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences (BC-HIS), and in 2013, he received a certificate from the International Hearing Society for completion of the American Conference of Audioprosthology (ACA) course. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Globe University and an MBA from Minnesota School of Business.Since Doug has tinnitus himself, he takes a special interest in providing tinnitus treatment options to his patients. By receiving a Tinnitus Care Provider certificate from the International Hearing Society, he can offer guidance and care to others who also suffer from tinnitus. Doug is licensed to dispense hearing aids in Arizona and Utah and proudly offers educational seminars to the community relating to the negative effects of hearing loss and the benefits of available treatment options.
