Autorenporträt
Rachel has been a registered Drama-therapist for over 28 years with a background in theatre performance and directing, she was also the Course Leader and Senior Tutor on an advanced Diploma in Drama-therapy accredited by Worcester University for 18 years. Rachel used her performing skills to regularly narrate a story she wrote - 'Simbaline' - for her three children, and also at local schools and play groups. The children she narrated it to loved the story, and this encouraged Rachel to engage an artist to illustrate the book, and to have it published for other children to enjoy. Throughout her career, Rachel has had a passion for assisting and witnessing people on their personal journey through times of transition and change, and celebrating self expression, something that is clearly evident in her first book, 'Simbaline, A Very Curious Butterfly'.
