Transform your prayer life in three easy steps! It sounds like a slick commercial that's too good to be true, but Jesus did give us three simple directions to follow: ask, seek, knock. In the gospel of Matthew, He says: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you" (7:7). Using this as a guide, Deb Hopper unpacks how we can do just that as part of our everyday lives. Think about it. How much more powerful would your prayers be if you were actually praying with direction and actively receiving answers? God listens and cares about everything we bring to Him, so why not pray in expectation? Deb did, and she wants you to experience the peace that comes from relying on God. More than giving a simple prayer strategy, Deb weaves over 30 years of answered prayers through this book to show you how she learned to pray. At the end of each chapter, she prompts you to experience prayer for yourself. If you want to make prayer a part of your daily routine in a practical way, try Simply Pray. Prayer may just change your life.
Autorenporträt
Deb Hopper felt called to ministry at age 16, and she spent the first 25 years of her professional career serving in the church and working in the corporate world. Her years as a business manager helped her provide for two young daughters as a single mother but were also the breaking point in her spiritual life and the beginning of a power-filled prayer journey. After 10 years as the women's pastor at Seacoast Church (a 25,000-member megachurch based in South Carolina), she transitioned off staff to pursue family ministry and life coaching. Married for 27 years to Gibson Hopper, she has three daughters, two sons-in-love, and 11 grandchildren.
