For years it was believed that rock was a form of male expression. This was particularly true in Mexico, where female rockers played as secondary members of the band for years. In this book, Tere Estrada puts everything in place. These pages provide a detailed account of a hard and bumpy journey that revolutionized the music world and whose social, political and cultural consequences are indisputable. A collective memory of the national rock female presence of yesterday and today, the pages include many different perspectives from singers, composers, producers, fans, and more.
