James McKeel is an author, performer, composer, and Professor Emeritus of Music at St. Olaf College. His children's operas, including Jargonauts Ahoy! and The Hero of Hamblett, have played to thousands of children. Sister Brother Sandrops is his first book and a joyous collaboration with his daughter, Juliana.
