Snakebites are a common and growing public health problem, with 5 million snakebites and 150,000 deaths annually, mainly in tropical countries. Adders cause haemorrhaging and cobras cause fatal respiratory paralysis. The only treatment is anti-venomous serum. During the first quarter of 2018, the majority of TSS cases recorded were Grade I symptomatic and caused by unknown snakes. In Morocco, the problem of snakebite accidents (SS) remains less well understood in epidemiological, clinical, aetiological (recognition of the snakes responsible for these bites) and management terms.

Nací en Marruecos en 1996. Obtuve el bachillerato en ciencias experimentales con especialización en ciencias de la vida y de la tierra, tras lo cual ingresé en la Facultad de Ciencias y Tecnología, donde obtuve la licenciatura en ciencias biológicas aplicadas y de la salud.
