Autorenporträt

Javi Costales Guardia was born on November 10th 1972 in Sabadell (Barcelona). Like most illustrators, he started drawing when he was a child, but it wasn't until 2011 that he decided to focus on illustration as a job. He attended the Sant Cugat School of Art where he studied illustration and animation. He taught art lessons to children for two years. In 2014, he self-published his first comic, Mi nombre es Torcuato (My name is Torcuato). So Different, So Equal is his first children's story, in which he is the author of the story as well as the illustrations.
