Social networks are formed from existing relationships between actors who share a common goal, such as building new paths for those seeking recovery and improved quality of life. This research is a case study that analyzes the formation of social networks at Fazenda da Esperança, a non-profit organization active in the social sector, present in Brazil and abroad with more than 60 units. The main objective of this institution is the recovery of drug addicts, based on the three pillars of treatment: spirituality, relationships, and work, without the use of medication or behavioral therapies. Through this method, it welcomes drug addicts to restructure their lives, transforming them into recovered citizens.
