Humanity currently lives in an informational context, with greater production of and access to information, characterised as the information society, brought about by the microelectronics revolution and the advent of the internet. The emphasis on relations between individuals and organisations is based on the dissemination of information, which is occurring at unprecedented levels. These changes have led social spheres to take on a new form, known as the network society. Based on the assumption that organisational socialisation is a basic social movement that maintains the standards established by a collective, it should be considered the core of training and developing managerial skills for entrepreneurs. In this case, it should be noted that socialisation strategies combined with information and knowledge management contribute significantly to organisational performance and to active informational behaviour in terms of searching for, accessing and using information, thus developing entrepreneurs' competitive intelligence.
