Point fasteners in glass facades and roofs create a special aesthetic effect thanks to their high transparency. In order to advance research into countersunk fasteners to the level of plate fasteners, this book investigates how a realistic simulation calculation model can be created and considers what a simplified method of dimensioning might look like. At the same time, the difficulties that arise during FE modelling are described in detail. Produktbeschreibung
The aim is to use experimental results from approval Z-70.2.100 to create conclusively verified FE models for both rigid and articulated countersunk head holders in order to achieve computer-aided dimensioning of point holders. Furthermore, an alternative method for designing countersunk head fasteners is being considered in order to move away from complex and uneconomical FE calculations towards a user-friendly standard similar to DIN 18008-3 for disc washers.
