And she suffers from a terrible illness, which will mean that she will never become fifteen. Until one day she meets a strange old man, a lonely and grumpy millionaire who will propose a solution to save her life: She will have to marry him until she turns eighteen. For a frightened girl, marriage can be just as scary as death. Sofía will have to decide for herself what to do in the face of the diabolical dilemma that has been presented to her. Should she give in to his blackmail or not? Is the man who wants her for himself an angel or a demon? The difference between one and the other is not always clear, and her future husband has very dark shadows in his life. But if she wants to survive, she will have to unite her destiny with him...A moving love story This beautiful romantic novel is about human nature, about good and evil, about fear and love, about how two human beings can be united and separated by forces that they do not control and yet can still decide their own destiny. What the readers said about the original Spanish version:"This novel is, without a doubt, one of the most romantic stories I've ever read." - ExtremeDamage on Amazon.com "It's because of books like this that I love reading..." - Elizabeth on Amazon.es "A touching and humane novel. A love you'd wish you could experience. A love... for eternity." - María Aída del Pozo on Amazon.es "A challenge for the reader about love and prejudice." - Marlene Morleon on Amazon.com "This is one of the best novels I've read in its genre." - Isabel Mata on Amazon.es "I definitely see myself reading it again. It's one of the best discoveries I made in 2013, and as soon as I can, I'll get it in physical form. And as I mentioned, it left me feeling happy. If a book has that power over me, it means it's worth it." - Pao on Goodreads "The narrative is wonderful. It's been a while since I read a book like this. Passionate, crazy in some ways. I really liked it." - Nilda Thelma Martínez on Amazon.com
