Agriculture has been undergoing major changes, including the introduction of synthetic chemical products, the use of more sophisticated machinery, a reduction in crop diversification and the emergence of larger, more specialized producers. Consequently, the evolution of the relationship between man and the environment has led to environmental imbalances and, as a result, the need to sustain the basic cycles that guarantee life on earth. This is why it is necessary to use other sources of energy that bring with them the concept of balance with nature, resulting in indicators of the sustainability of agro-ecosystems. The aim of this work was to study the biological and chemical attributes of a soil cultivated with sugar cane, classified as Vertissolo and fertirrigated with vinasse, in two agricultural areas.
