Taking into account the previous experience in Colombia, the author was concerned about soil salinity in the Sierra region under dry conditions. As a second step, the author investigated the investigation of the chemical property of soils in the Costa, Oriente and Sierra region, and introduced the Colombian method with the evaluation of CEC in addition to the physical investigation.By the introduction of the Colombian method, the author was able to manifest the soil salinityin the Costa and Sierra region.
