Solaris Rising (Clay Solaris Book 1) by JT Skewes is a bold and cinematic military and geopolitical thriller set in the fractured aftermath of a non-nuclear World War III. North America has been carved into rival colonies by Russia and China, Petrovistan in the east and Pacifica in the west, but the uneasy peace shatters as hostilities erupt once more. Amid this volatile new world, an abandoned orphan named Clay Solaris rises to prominence as a military genius destined to alter the balance of power. Across the ocean, two Indonesian twins born to power are drawn into his orbit, setting the stage for an epic collision of privilege, destiny, and rebellion. As loyalties blur and nations teeter, Clay must decide whether his allegiance lies with his overlords or the freedom of his people. With its sweeping scope, intricate geopolitics, and emotional depth, Solaris Rising blends the intensity of military strategy with the moral complexity of character-driven fiction.
