Robert Hollins was born near San Francisco, California, to a Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army. After several relocations, his family settled in the high desert of California. He attended Victor Valley Community College before moving to Las Vegas to pursue a pre-med program. Ultimately, Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. With a degree but lacking work experience, he spent a year taking on various odd jobs and dedicating time to writing. In 2006, Robert enlisted in the U.S. Army and has since served in multiple capacities. Throughout his military career, he continued to write, and his passion for storytelling culminated in the creation of Some Humble Joy, a testament to years of personal effort and creative expression.
