The homes discussed include those of Stephen Maynard, the Simon Tainter House, the Samuel Forbush Tavern, the Parkman Parsonage, the Breck Parkman Shop, the Forbes Homestead, the Thomas Forbush House, the First Davis House, the Gershom Brigham House, the Haskell House, the Gale Tavern, and the Thomas Whitney House. The Parkman Diaries can be found in the chapter devoted to the Breck Parkman Shop. Additional Parkman manuscripts can be found in the chapter devoted to the Forbes Homestead.
