Riesa and her patrol walked through the sparse forest, looking for the southern soldiers and their masters. She was tense, knowing what the southern Sorcerers would do to them if they found her and her soldiers before she found them. Riesa and her patrol walked through the sparse forest, looking for the southern soldiers and their masters. She was tense, knowing what the southern Sorcerers would do to them if they found her and her soldiers before she found them. A southern Sorcerer stepped out from behind a tree, forming a ball of fire above his left hand. She raised her bow and fired just as he released the fireball. She saw her arrow strike the evil one in the chest. As he fell to the ground, Riesa turned to see the fireball strike Winona. There was nothing Riesa could do but watch as Winona burst into flame and was consumed. Riesa sat bolt upright in her bed, throwing the covers off and standing up. The nightmares continued to haunt her. That wasn't what woke her. "What is that?" she said aloud. Riesa concentrated on the thing that woke her. It was just a feeling, but it was intense and getting stronger. The curtain to her sleeping quarters muted the light from the other room. She went to the bathing room to freshen up and get dressed in full armor. Sorcerers Reborn: Orighen is book two of the Sorcerers Reborn series.
Autorenporträt
Richard B (Rick) Ogle was born in 1951 in Northern Ontario. This is his second appearance in the writing world. He worked for forty-five-plus years as a journeyman fabricator-welder. In 1978, Rick wrote a short story called "Storms," which evolved into two books. His work always came first, so writing took a backseat. Sorcerers Reborn was first conceived in late 2000, and again, work came first. The book was revisited when he decided to write full-time in 2013.In 1998, Rick returned to school to learn something that would lead him out of his chosen trade as a fabricator and welder. In 1999, he spent six months as an adult literacy tutor, finding it rewarding to see the progress each student made. He has an Adult Instructors Diploma. He completed a six-month course to obtain an A+ computer technician certification. He has an AutoCAD certificate in drafting and design. He instructed classes for Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access at the North Cariboo Community Skills Center in Quesnel, BC. Rick is self-taught in HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) code and built his website in 1998 while he was in school. He named his website "Poems and Short Stories by Richard B". That website still exists today. Home page URL: https://www.richardbees.ca
