Barbara L. Peacock is the award-winning author of Soul Care in African American Practice and the founder of Barbara L. Peacock Ministries, through which she offers classes and certifications in spiritual direction for leaders. Dr. Peacock received her master's degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and holds a doctor of ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. She has been married to Gilbert for 45 years and resides in Indian Trail, North Carolina.
