The main objective of this work was to compare diffuse spectroradiometry with digital images for discriminating nitrogen doses in beans. The specific objectives were to propose vectors of vegetation indices extracted from digital images captured by a digital camera using different filters (720nm IR, 850nm IR and UV-IR cut) and compared with the indices obtained using a spectroradiometer; to evaluate the use of the indices alone in the adjustment of linear models for discriminating between nitrogen levels in the bean crop, as well as their relationship with production components, in addition to establishing the spectral behaviour of the bean crop to different doses of nitrogen applied during its development.

Mônica Sacioto Chicati schloss ihr Studium der Agrarwissenschaften an der Staatlichen Universität Maringa/UEM (2004) ab, erwarb einen Master-Abschluss in Agrarwissenschaften an der UEM (2014) und ist Doktorandin in Agrarwissenschaften an der UEM. Sie verfügt über Erfahrung in der Agronomie, mit Schwerpunkt auf Geoverarbeitung und Fernerkundung, Böden und Pflanzenernährung.
