Produktbeschreibung
Over the years, voltage series compensators have become the main solution for protecting electrical loads from voltage sags. New technologies have been developed to reduce the size of this device in terms of power and voltage, and consequently, cost. To achieve this goal, some simplifications have been made, including the removal of the series transformer and energy storage elements. In order to continue this simplification, this book discusses a proposal for a Series Voltage Compensator without the output filter and modulation of the series voltage inverter, which is no longer at high frequency, but rather square wave. This book seeks to address the advantages and disadvantages of this new technology. With this new technology, a cost reduction of around 35% is estimated when compared to the traditional Series Voltage Compensator (with output filter and high-frequency modulation).
