William Treseder is the cofounder and chief operating officer at BMNT, a government innovation consultancy. He also leads strategy for the Marine Innovation Unit, and is (probably) the oldest sergeant in the Marine Corps (date of rank: 1 May 2005). William has written extensively on public sector innovation for TIME, Harvard Business Review, Boston Review, and Breaking Defense. He is also the best-selling author of Reset: Building Purpose in the Age of Digital Distraction. He holds a degree from Stanford University and an executive certification from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He lives in Silicon Valley with his wife and two children.
