The tassels have been turned, the last notes of "Pomp and Circumstance" have faded, and the graduation parties have come to an end. Now what? Whether you move into full-time work, continue your education, or explore for a while, you'll have a chance to create new rituals and patterns of life, develop new friends and communities, and face new challenges. As you make your way, *Stepping Out on Your Own** will remind you that you are not alone. Each of its 93 meditations, from the pages of the award-winning teen devotional magazine *devozine, ** starts with scripture and ends with an invitation to prayer or other action. Let *Stepping Out on Your Own** encourage you to grow in understanding that you are unique and uniquely gifted to participate in the transformation of this world with God. *Stepping Out on Your Own** is a collection of 93 meditations from the pages of devozine, the award-winning devotional magazine for teens. Each meditation reminds new graduates that they aren't alone on this journey. God's presence and promises are available to guide them through the sometimes exciting, sometimes scary period of young adulthood. Kara Lassen Oliver organizes the meditations into three movements of this journey: (1) Leave-taking, (2) Listening for God, and (3) Coming Together. Each brief meditation, many of them written by young adults, starts with scripture and ends with an invitation to prayer or other action. This book belongs on the nightstands of all recent high school graduates.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
