He writes character-driven stories with heart, humour, a healthy dose of existential dread, and a cynical-ish worldview-often featuring anthropomorphic characters, big emotions, and sarcastic protagonists who'd rather be anywhere else.His debut novel, Stories of My Dinosaur Life, blends science fiction, urban fantasy, and fake-memoir chaos to explore identity, resilience, and what it means to find your place in a world that wasn't built for you.Tay lives in Canada's capital, drinks too much coffee, and spends an unreasonable amount of time making sure fictional animals have believable trauma arcs. When not writing, he's probably coding something weird or complaining about an easily fixable problem.
