Autorenporträt

C.A.F. Rhys Davids (1857-1942) was a Pali scholar and the honorary secretary of the Pali Text Society from 1907, and its president from 1923 to 1942. She was educated at University College, London. She was served as Lecturer in Indian Philosophy at Victoria University of Manchester (1910-1913); and Lecturer in the History of Buddhism at SOAS (1918-1933). She wrote several books, such as Buddhism: A Study of the Buddhist Norm; Buddhist Psychology: An Inquiry into the Analysis and Theory of Mind in P?li Literature; A Manual of Buddhism for Advanced Students; Outlines of Buddhism: A Historical Sketch, etc.
