Cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT) have the wind in one's sails. We can't watch any more TV forecast in the second part of evening without finding a talk about this «revolutionary method» that allows to feel better, and to fell better fast. To offer a practical textbook of CBT not intended only for specialists is not an easy thing. More than any theoretical explanation, I mean that examples are the most important things to display here. It is in this sense that I conceived this work. A first part explains, in a simple way, "the spirit" of CBT : the matter is to approach the indications, contraindications, as well as general principles of techniques used. The second part, much more practical, is constituted of clinical vignettes illustrating different applications of the method. These concrete cases, drawn from real consultations, allow following session by session, the evolution of the patients and their disorders.
