Produktbeschreibung
Larry Davis, doctor of chiropractic, has teamed up with Dr. Lenae White, board-certified addictionologist, to reveal the deep connection between stress, inflammation, and disease in Stress and Inflammation: A Silent Epidemic. Their clear explanation of stress responses and the inflammation process provides an understanding of why achieving optimal health for modern Americans remains challenging. Focusing on stress responses, hormones, the digestive tract and digestion, and the detrimental effects of stress on the body's processes, Davis and White have identified how we can stop the silent epidemic that belies many disease processes. Stress and Inflammation: A Silent Epidemic identifies the types of foods, vitamins, and minerals lacking in the average American diet and explains that there is not a one-size-fits all diet for every physical makeup. Authors Davis and White provide a counter to these deficiencies in a customizable lifestyle program and process that includes meditation, sleep, exercise, proper diet and nutrition, and behavioral suggestions for optimal wellness.
