Hyvelle Ferguson-Davis is a passionate advocate for empowering women to take control of their heart health. As a survivor of a stroke, heart attack, and quadruple bypass surgery, she is living proof that one can thrive with purpose despite daunting diagnoses.Driven by her journey, Hyvelle founded Heart Sistas, a 501(c)3 non-profit providing education and support for underserved women facing diabetes, heart disease, stroke and other health challenges. Through community outreach, online resources, and workshops, Heart Sistas promotes prevention and self-care strategies focused on nutrition, fitness, and mental/emotional well-being.Hyvelle is committed to raising awareness and closing gaps in healthcare, especially for women of color. She lends her voice to organizations like the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, and Mended Hearts as a board member and patient advocate.With degrees in education and plant-based nutrition, Hyvelle is also a certified Life Coach and leadership trainer. She enjoys motivating others to make positive lifestyle changes. Her motto is: "Let's prioritize our health by making health our priority. Mind, Body, Soul."Though her health journey has been treacherous at times, Hyvelle chooses to thrive with purpose. By sharing her message of empowerment, she aims to inspire women to take control of their well-being because she believes that prioritizing self-care and prevention is key to combating diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic illnesses plaguing her community.
