Brazilian industrial production has grown exponentially since the 1990s, especially due to the strengthening of the country's economy. As a result, a large number of micro, small and medium-sized manufacturing companies were forced to adapt to the standards and guidelines set out in the Regulatory Standards (NR's), with the aim of guaranteeing the prevention of risks and accidents related to activities carried out in formal employment, while maintaining the integrity and protection of Brazilian workers. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to look at health and safety conditions at work in a company that produces plastic food packaging in order to identify occupational risks generated during formal activities resulting from the transformation of raw materials into finished products. In this sense, the assessment of the plastic packaging production profile for this case study found numerous irregularities in the light of current legislation. However, all the sectors analyzed received attention in order to comply with the NR'S specific to the production profile analyzed.
