Dr. Amal Kumar Sahu has worked as research scholar under the guidance of Dr. S. C. Santra at Precidency College, Calcutta and at School of Environmental Science, Kalyani University and awarded Ph.D. degree. He has also worked on roadside trees, Park trees and wall flora of Calcutta city on environmental issues.
