Majority of the respondents had medium level of scientific orientation, knowledge and adoption about summer rice production technology. As regards to technical constraints, labour intensive was found a major constraints, followed by personnel constraints, lack of education, social constraints, problem of grazing, economical constraints, requirement of more investment and institutional constraints, lack of extension services was found major constraints.

Dr. Y.S. Dhruw is presently working as Assistant Professor (Agricultural Extension), College of Agriculture and Research Station, Kurud, Dist. Dhamtari, IGKV, Raipur (C.G.). He did his PG and Ph. D. in Agricultural Extension at IGKV, Raipur. He has published more than 15 research papers in national and international journals.
