PRINCESS FRANCOIS also known as Franny the Traveler is a nationally award-winning educational leader, equity advocate, travel blogger, and content creator. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Princess is extremely proud of her Caribbean roots as a first-generation Haitian American. An educator for over a decade, her past work focused on teaching high school sciences, coaching teachers and instructors to maximize students' academic and socio-emotional growth, as well as advocating and creating spaces for culturally responsive practices that promote anti-racism, equity, and inclusion in schools. She is now extending her impact to help first-generation college students persist through college. Princess holds a bachelor's degree in History with a Pre-Medical Concentration from Columbia University and master's degrees from CUNY Hunter College in Adolescent Special Education and Bank Street Graduate School of Education in Educational Leadership. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Fordham University. She uses her platform, Franny the Traveler blog, to inspire micro-cations, educate on Black travel and amplify underrepresented voices as she seeks to visit 50 countries and all 50 states before the age of 50.
