It was filled with sorrow, deep emotions, and suspense. This book was an emotional read, and the chapters transitioned smoothly into one another. The conclusion was utterly surprising, completely unlike anything I could have imagined." - Reviewed by Alma Boucher for Readers' Favorite
Sharon devoted her career to the public schools in Corpus Christi Texas from 1971 through 2009, primarily with children in Early Childhood Education through sixth grade. Although she was not raised in the mountains, they called to her, and she got there as soon as she could, retiring to the western slope of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, 14 years later, she left the vibrant aspens in the mountains for the stately oaks in Central Texas. Surviving the Truth is her first novel.
