Saikat Maji, nacido el 21 de marzo de 1990, se licenció en Ciencias Agrícolas por la Universidad Visva Bharati. Recibió una beca ICAR-JRF en 2011 y completó un máster en Extensión y Comunicación Agrícola en la prestigiosa Universidad de Agricultura y Tecnología G.B Pant, en Pantnagar. Actualmente, el autor es becario de investigación en el ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute.
