He was quoted in a Special Congressional Quarterly Report and is a recipient of the Leadership 500 LEAD Award, a global honor presented by HR.com.Stawitz has chaired and spoken at numerous conferences and events in London, Beijing, Moscow, Saudi Arabia, and throughout North America on subjects ranging from artificial intelligence, blockchain, and other new digital technologies to employee performance, managing change, and creating high performing organizations.He was recruited by United Space Alliance, the prime space shuttle contractor, to design and implement the first technical training program for the U.S. Space Shuttle Program aerospace design engineers in the wake of the Challenger explosion. He also produced online training and desktop simulations for the astronauts.He developed, implemented, and managed an effective competency-based technical training program for InterGen, a Royal Dutch Shell energy venture with Bechtel, that maximized safety and productivity while ensuring regulatory compliance.He established the in-house ability to create computer-based training, produced live interactive video streams from remote locations before internet video was a commonplace element of business, and created a portable video production studio for El Paso Natural Gas Pipeline, the largest natural gas pipeline company in America.He currently serves as the CEO of Storymakers, Inc., a creative arts enterprise and specialized publishing house based in Houston, Texas. In this role, he publishes books and guides writers through the process of creating marketable editions of their work with global distribution
