The Author initially practiced at the Bar before becoming a Partner in one of the 'Magic Circle' Law Firms in the City of London. He subsequently returned to the Bar, where he practised in Commercial and Construction disputes. He recently retired to begin a new career as a writer. He now lives in the West Country with his wife, Sophia, and 'Bertie' (Labrador).
