Lauren Cotton is an Australian author based in Victoria. Sweeties with Diabetes is her debut children's book, inspired by her son, who received a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes at just three years old. Struggling to find engaging, educational resources that could ease anxiety, build confidence, and bring joy back into her child's daily life, Lauren decided to create her own. Her heartfelt mission is to empower families living with diabetes through stories that inform, comfort, and uplift.
