This work examines the ability of rhizobia to nodulate alfalfa and resist various abiotic stresses, such as high salt concentrations, pH variations and phosphorus deficiency. The results reveal that certain strains of rhizobia exhibit greater resistance to these conditions. Furthermore, co-inoculation with PGPR bacteria promoted the growth and stress tolerance of alfalfa plants, notably by improving phosphorus absorption and optimizing photosynthesis-related processes.
