Heterocyclic chemistry represents one of the most dynamic and attractive branch of organic chemistry. Produktbeschreibung
Heterocyclic chemistry represents one of the most dynamic and attractive branch of organic chemistry. It represents a class of compound containing N, S and O atoms which plays a pivotal role in any developed society as evident from the fact that pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, dyes and many other kinds of products are mostly heterocyclic in nature. Heterocyclic compounds are capable with very high structural complexity and variety and preparation of heterocycles in a synthetically efficient way is one of the main goals of modern organic synthesis. In this context, this chapter focuses on the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds via multicomponent reactions (MCRs) using green and efficient synthetic methodologies.
