A book of six long poems about dysfunctional and abusive relationships, cruelty, placation, beauty products, skin rashes, gender, and intoxication, TACT reveals how humans tiptoe through their orbits around one another, how magnetism is measured by will. Duffy locates meaning in existence by scoffing at it, finding "the purpose being to clear one of one's self, to make room again."
