W. Hock Hochheim is a retired Texas police detective and patrol officer and a former U.S. Army investigator and patrolman. He is the author of numerous books since the late 1970s and has created three action, fiction series, the Jack Kellog detective series, the Gunther western adventure series and "Swoop" Swellen Renegade General series. He tours 9 countries a year teaching combatives and reside in North Texas.
