The Chatroom details a 15-year old girl's online experiences and explores the impact of our changing world on the relationships we have and the way we connect with each other.
REG CRIBB is a NIDA graduate who has performed for stage, film and television. He is also an accomplished singer/songwriter and musician. His first play, Night of the Sea Monkey, was performed at Sydney's Old Fitzroy in 1999. His award-winning play, The Return, premiered in Sydney at Griffin in 2001 and a subsequent production at the Adelaide Fringe Festival won the 2002 Advertiser Southwark Best of Fringe Award. The play was shortlisted for Best Drama Stage Award at the Queensland Premier's Literary Awards in 2001, and Cribb adapted it for film as Last Train to Freo. Other plays include the multi-award winning Last Cab to Darwin, and Ruby's Last Dollar both of which toured nationally; and The Chatroom which premiered in Perth.
