Since I was a child I easily connected with nature, animals, and other sentient beings. It is a connection beyond the human language, it's the language of the heart, a universal language. In my late twenties, I immigrated to Canmore, a small town near Banff National Park in the Rocky Mountains, Canada where I lived for more than 10 years before returning to Germany. It felt like a playground being so close to nature and all its wildlife. It was a time when I learned a lot about myself and also discovered the healing energy of Reiki. I realized how sensitive I was and that it was not a curse but instead a powerful gift to connect and communicate with others (animals, crystals, nature, energy) in such a different way. Some of these experiences, conversations, and especially the love and wisdom they hold I wanted to share in this book.
