Cedric Brown is the author of several flash ficton and nonfiction works. His writing has also been included in the anthologies "Blacktino Queer Performance" and "The Road Before Us: 100 Black Gay Poets." Brown is the founder of the Jacobs/Jones African American Literary Prize, sponsored by the North Carolina Writers Network, and co-founder of the Randall Kenan Prize for Black Ficton, sponsored by Lambda Literary. He lives in North Carolina.
