Coreen Yama is a personal support worker whose experience in long-term care has given her many glimpses into life and death. After years struggling with mental illness, she turned to writing to put her emotions into words, a healing process she hopes to bring to the wider world. The author of one other book-Bliss: A Collection of Erotic Visions-she lives in Toronto with her husband and two cats.
