Autorenporträt
Katia González, Ed.D., Teachers College Columbia University, is Associate Provost for Academic Affairs, Chair, and Professor of Education at Wagner College in New York. Dr. González serves as an Accreditation Commissioner for the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP) co-chairing AAQEP's standards renewal process. Her publications and presentations focus on the impact of intercultural connections and culturally responsive practices for effective partnerships and pedagogy. Rhoda Frumkin, Ed.D., Rutgers University, was Professor of Education and Director of Field Placement and Student Teaching at Wagner College. She won numerous accolades and awards for her teaching and community work. As a literacy expert, her publications included culturally responsive literacy learning and instruction, in-service and pre-service teaching training, and working closely with families and communities. Paul Gold, Ed.D., Dowling College, is Clinical Professor of Education and Director of Graduate Education Programs at Wagner College in New York. Dr. Gold was a teacher and administrator in NYS public schools for 31 years, President of the New York State Council for Social Studies, and serves as a consultant for the New York State Education Department.
