Tunc Tanfer§Tanfer Emin Tunc received her PhD in US History from Stony Brook University (NY) in 2005. She is a social and cultural historian, specializing in the history of women; gender, sexuality, and reproduction; and feminist theory. She is currently an Assistant Professor of American Culture and Literature at Hacettepe University (Turkey).
