The purpose of the project was to develop ideas to provide people with special needs with greater independence, quality of life, and social inclusion. The importance of this topic in society is essential. In everyday life, there are countless cases of neglect of people with disabilities, and this topic addresses these problems. The project was carried out in order to direct this study towards engineering and demonstrate how much it can help in Assistive Technology.

Paulo Henrique Cortez is an Electrical Engineer graduated from UNESP - Guaratinguetá, currently working in Industrial Engineering at Eaton Hydraulics. With experience in Germany, at Hochschule Karlsruhe, studying renewable energies and sensor techniques, he worked at Robert Bosch GmbH with electric and hybrid cars.
