Increasing the productivity of teak (Tectona grandis L.f.) has been one of the concerns of the production sector, which involves, above all, the choice of locations, genotypes and the adoption of appropriate management regimes for growing the species. This book will be a benchmark in the historical process of its cultivation, as we are proposing, using and demonstrating the effectiveness of less empirical methods, such as Hierarchical Process Analysis (AHP), for choosing suitable sites for cultivation, based on the ecological and silvicultural requirements of the species, based on climatic, edaphic and physiographic variables. It is aimed at teachers, researchers, extension workers, students, forestry engineers and technicians, forestry entrepreneurs, foresters and other interested parties.
