Cleris Christian is a happily-married wife of her sweet husband Jodrejoy Joseph Christian for twenty-six years. Together, they are blessed with two beautiful children, Joshua and Rebecca, whom they value as their precious gifts from God. Cleris was born and raised in a Christ-centered family by her lovely parents, Samuel and Ruth Christian, who are her godly role models and encouragers. She attributes her upbringing to her dear parents, who raised her to be the woman of God she is today. Cleris' life revolves around God and her family, who are her priorities and joy. Although Cleris is successful in her career in the secular world, she considers her prime achievement in serving for God's glory. Her passion is to share the love of God and to make Jesus known through her personal life and writings. Cleris is also the author of the yearly devotional book Zion Devotions, in which she relates her life experiences to God's Word through daily devotions. Cleris' aim and purpose for her family is summed up by the Bible verse 1 Peter 2:9 (NIV): "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
