Restricted-access subdivisions have become models of segregated spaces; these models, the product of ineffective social and economic policies, force the most vulnerable population to cohabit in homes with significant backwardness, causing greater fragmentation and fostering the coexistence of a polarized society.These models, which are the product of inefficient social and economic policies, force the most vulnerable population to cohabit in homes with significant backwardness, causing greater fragmentation and fostering the coexistence of a polarized society. The objective then is tofind a paradigm shift seen from the urbanization in watersheds, generating metadata at the local level with the participation of citizens, this in order to find resilience alternatives to the problem of gentrification. The research focuses on the Arvento subdivision, one of the most inappropriate and inaccessible places for housing in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area, the participatory experience ofthe researcher is of utmost importance in community assemblies and aid campaigns in social networks were of great relevance. Finally, to validate the information criteria, intra-method triangulation was incorporated by using different qualitative techniques, mainly institutional reports and written press.
